Film Producer Thor Halvorssen Rises to the top of the Human Rights Community

The human rights community has seen many leaders over its history, but few have had their finger on the pulse of popular culture as impressively as Thor Halvorssen; the Venezuelan born activist began his career working within the confines of major human rights groups, but soon found himself frustrated at the activities of many groups. Halvorssen appreciates the work done by major charitable groups in the U.S. and parts of western Europe but feels time and funding is better spent in closed societies around the world.

Thor Halvorssen has combined his efforts as a human rights activist with a growing career as a film producer that often crosses into his work as an activist. Among the documentaries the producer has worked on are a number of those that examine the effects of communism on societies in Eastern Europe in the middle of the 20th century; the award winning documentaries of Thor Halvorssen have examined issues, including a popular uprising in Hungary in the 1950s, and “Hammer & Tickle” that looked at the use of humor for propaganda during the Cold War.

Linking his work in the entertainment industry with that as a film producer has been a major part of the work of Thor Halvorssen and has recently seen him publicize those celebrities who choose to work for and with tyrants from around the world. Thor brought attention to the attendance at parties and events organized by Eastern European tyrants who paid artists including Hilary Swank and Jennifer Lopez to attend their events.

Thor has also brought his own opinions and thoughts to the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election cycle with appearances on various news channels, during which he explained the human rights records of the main candidates during the nomination process. Thor has also seen his work bring him to the attention of many major political institutions where he has spoken on numerous occasions, including his appearances at the United Nations and the British Houses of Parliament.

Glenn Beck’s perilous campaign against George Soros

Glenn Beck has repeatedly been accusing George Soros of being involved in the international conspiracy as well as having unfulfilled desires to bring governments down. The anti-Soros tirade has been heard in Hungary over and over again coming from Glenn Beck. The big issue it that Soros never cares about the accusations at all. He has heard much negative news about him from his former country and other sources, but he always chooses to give deaf ears to his haters.

George Soros have faced several scandalmongers apart from Beck’s, linking him to communism and fascism among others but he kicked them well and still going on stronger. He doesn’t give a damn about the allegations.

Beck vehemently accused George Soros Nazi of anti-Semitism and paints him as a Nazi tool for surviving the most disastrous Holocaust that claimed lives of many people during summer in 1944. Adolf Eichmann was an efficient machine then who quickly worked hard to distract the remaining part of Europe that the Jewish community held intact. Everyone including the most deceived Nazis believed that the war had come to an end, but Eichmann proved them wrong by prolonging it.

Beck claims that when George Soros was 14 years old, he was used as a messenger for the Budapest Jewish Council. This group of elders was determined to survive the Campaign by following Gestapo’s commands. George Soros was supposed to spread critical alerts to the Jews about the planned meeting points. He eventually decided to disobey the command as prompted by his father. He shared the information with one of the laws abiding citizen who refused to break the laws. Many law abiding citizens died under Eichmann’s spiteful campaign which was targeting to make Hungary Judenrein. Those who survived used false identity through deception as well as bribing the Nazis.

George Soros never liked the communists because they separated him from his parents through a jail term as well as his grandparents who were killed. This is among the reasons he was willing to fight communism.

Becks accusations on Soros could be seen as full of ignorance if one can study the recent history about Soros. In fact, Soros has always been in the forefront to fight communism. Beck claimed that Soros has the power to bring down governments, but the question is; which governments? There was a requirement by the government that every typewriter need to be registered by the police, and it was in 1984 when George Soros started an Open Society Office. He trafficked some Xerox machines which rendered the strategy used by the state to control information non-efficient. More Open Society offices were running in the Soviet empire, and Soros along with Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and Pope John Paul II managed to bring down the communism. Soros played a tremendous role in finishing communism as well as the terrifying campaign that prospered the Nazis.

George Soros never gives in to criticism and is always proud of his ability to command many people who trust him and are eager to listen to him. He was never a member of any association or club but managed to work collaboratively with those who gave an ear to him despite being an outsider.

Thor Halvorssen And Why He Founded HRF

What is the Human Rights Foundation? As its name suggests, the Human Rights Foundation, or HRF, is a foundation that stands for human rights and tries to preserve human rights as best as it can. There are many human rights violators and violations on the face of this planet, which is why the Human Rights Foundation was started.

The Human Rights Foundation adheres to the principles put forth by the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which was created in 1976. It believes that every human being has the right to worship the way he or she chooses and has the right to practice his or her lifestyle as he or she sees fit without any restrictions placed on him or her by other people. The Human Rights Foundation does everything it can to ensure that people do indeed have the ability to live freely.

Thor Halvorssen is the founder of the Human Rights Foundation. Born to a Norwegian and Venezuelan background, he founded the Human Rights Foundation after his mother was shot in Venezuela in 2004. He is described by the New York Times as the champion of the underdog. Indeed, even as a young man in 1989 in London, he championed and protested against the apartheid that was then practiced by the government of South Africa.

Thor Halvorssen is by no means a stranger to oppressed peoples and oppressive governments. He has had his fair share of losses caused by dictatorships. His own father was savagely beaten and tortured in 1993 while being locked up in a Venezuelan jail for political reasons. His father was a high-ranking diplomat who had ambassador status. His cousin, Leopoldo Lopez, also a Venezuelan politician, was similarly arrested by the Venezuelan government. His mother was shot by Venezuelan police, as mentioned above, and this shootout was broadcast live over television.

All these occurrences caused Thor to becomes a champion for human rights.

Brenda Wardle Gives The Legal View On Woke Twitter Scandal

The question being asked across South Africa is when does the right to free speech become overpowered by the right to human dignity. Following the end of the apartheid regime in the country the right to human dignity was included in the constitution to make sure the people of South Africa were protected in the future. Now users of Twitter and Facebook have combined to target those who post offensive and racist content in a bid to bring them to the attention of the public; this movement is known as Woke Twitter and has spread across the world.

Legal analyst Brenda Wardle has now set out what she believes is the case against the three latest posters suspected of posting racist material to social media. Wardle came to prominence around the world with her legal experience during the Oscar Pistorius trial when she became a well known figure for global media corporations to interview over the issues raised during the trial.

Wardle has now weighed into the Woke Twitter case with her view that the three suspects who have been charged with racial hatred crimes have given up their right to a free speech defense. Wardle is a well known figure in the South African legal system for the large number of papers she has written that have become the standards for many areas of law. The Woke Twitter case allowed Wardle to investigate constitutional law, which prompted her to judge the right to human dignity outweighs the right to freedom of speech in such cases.

The Woke Twitter movement has become something of a global phenomenon with the political aspect of social media being explored by activists around the world. In the latest case in South Africa three posters were spotted by Twitter and Facebook users conversing in what was believed to be a racist fashion; Woke Twitter users reported these posts to police and social media companies resulting in the three facing criminal charges. Although the Woke Twitter movement has been credited with doing much good work around the world reports of threats being made against the family members of one of the posters has made some question the impact of the movement.
