How Tammy Mazzocco Conquered the Real Estate Puzzle

Tammy Mazzocco is a well-known real estate agent in Central Ohio who according to, became successful the old-fashioned way – she worked at it and earned it. Tammy started out as a secretary in a commercial real estate firm and worked in several other real estate support positions until she got her license in 1995 at the urging of one of her managers.

It was working as the licensed assistant to a top RE/MAX producer that her eyes were opened as to how a successful real estate office was run that got her attention, and she realized that there was some good money to be made. In 1999 she decided to go full-time into real estate as a profession, and she hasn’t had any second thoughts.

When asked to what did she owe her success, she replied that she had several mentors along the way, but the one thing she learned early was that the people are who you need to concentrate on because if they don’t like you, they won’t buy from you.

Admittedly a somewhat shy person, Tammy Mazzocco says she had to concentrate on opening the conversation because if she didn’t have probably no one would say anything. Once everyone gets to talking, then all can relax and enjoy the moment. Tammy went on to say that the one habit that she enjoys the most is setting goals, and then breaking them down into actionable steps. That is the only way to get things done because of distractions. It is easier to accomplish things in small steps.

According to her Radaris page, her motto that she wishes she had when she was younger is not to take herself too seriously, live without fear of failure, and don’t settle for anything but the best. If she had been that diligent in the beginning, she could have saved herself lots of worries.
